Autism Events in April

April is Autism Awareness Month, with events all over the state to promote public knowledge of this disability. Along with the University of Arkansas Conference on March 3 and 4, the UAMS Conference on April 16 and 17, interested individuals can also attend:

In Russellville, MiChild Enrichment Center is having an Autism and Nutrition Seminar.  $149 for early registration to this all day event.  I head Elizabeth Strickland at the Fayetteville conference this March. She has a lot of advice on how to deal with children who will not eat and sensory food issues. CLICK HERE for the brochure.

In Jonesboro, AANEA will be having its conference on Friday, April 23.  Please visit www.aanea.org for more information. Registration is $50 for the all day event with Dr. Joseph Gentry, Carol Kranowitz, and Taylor Crowe.  The registration form can be found here.

In Monticello, there's a one-day conference on autism on April 10 at the Oak Grove Assembly of God. Please call 870-367-5143 for more information.
